Vytautas is a serial fintech entrepreneur. Prior to finding Bankera a neo bank concentrating on Banking-as-a-Service, back in 2013 he found SpectroCoin, a cryptocurrency exchange, having more than 1.2 million users. He has also co-founded a number of IT companies including a core banking software provider BankingLab and a solution for smooth private and business clients’ onboarding AutoKYC.

Vytautas now focuses on Bankera’s banking-as-a-service and embedded finance solutions.

His passion for fintech started back in 2012 after graduating from the University of Cambridge, where he studied MPhil in Finance. Later he continued his academic research on blockchain technology as a PhD candidate at KU Leuven in Belgium.

Main Vytautas interest is the openness and interoperability of payment networks raging from blockchain to open banking and card networks.
