Q&A Session
Workshop Jumio
How to orchestrate identity proofing, KYC and AML programs
With the world pivoting to a virtual setting, organisations have had to rethink how they provide assurance of the identity of their online customers. Today, traditional Know Your Customers strategies are simply not enough to fight fraud and financial crime, meet KYC/AML compliance and instill trust in an organisation’s online ecosystems. Orchestration of the identity proofing process has become a critical requirement. As Gartner pointed out in its 2020 Market Guide for Identity Proofing and Affirmation : “Simply ingesting risk signals all at once from multiple sources to arrive at a consolidated decision does not constitute orchestration.” Organisations need a more accurate and complete picture of their customers and their behaviour through out the entire customer lifecycle.
In this session, we will discuss the order of operations that are typical to most Financial organisations and how to create an orchestrated workflow with a more holistic user experience that’s based on specific use cases, risk tolerance and budget.
Speaker:
Frederic Ly, Regional Sales Manager, Jumio
Workshop Fido
Filling in the financial picture on Gen Z consumers
About 23% of millennials don’t carry a credit card, and more than one in five of Generation Z adults believe debt should be avoided altogether. These “no credit” adults have been hard for lenders to connect with and perhaps even harder to assess for credit risk. Locating accurate, credit-relevant information on these young adults can be difficult. As reported by the IMF, the most transformative information innovation in Fintech is the increase in use of new types of data coming from the digital footprint of customers’ various online activities. In this session, we will discuss how the use of alternative data can help banks and fintechs increase their acceptance rate and bolster financial inclusion under the current market conditions.
